Matrix provides a full suite of capabilities to support vacuum forming, pressureforming, and thermoforming operations. From vacuum forming tools and molds to finished parts and trimming, we can support any number of the common processes required for making thermoformed parts.
Vaccum Forming Tooling and Molds
Matrix produces highly accurate vacuum forming molds and tooling from a variety of different materials. Whether it's low-quantity prototype tooling or high-volume production tooling, we can produce tooling to fit your projects needs. Common tooling and mold materials include aluminum, tooling boards and foam, and wood/MDF.
CNC Part Trimming
Using CNC technologies like 5-axis machining we can accurately trim vacuum formed parts for our customers in the case they need to be able to augment their own capabilities or capacity.
Vacuum Formed and Thermoformed Parts
In addition to the tooling and CNC trimming, Matrix has internal vacuum forming capabilities geared towards development, short run, and low-volume production needs. Using common plastics like ABS and PETG we have the ability to control all aspects of the part production cycle from tooling to final part trimming and inspection.
