Mold and Pattern/Plug Finishing
Matrix has the capability to meet a number of mold surface finishing requirements. For non-metallic layup tooling we have the capability to apply a number of different sealers or primers including polyester, vinyl ester, and epoxy surface coatings. Primers such as Duratec provide a solid seal and layup surface to yield high quality surface finishes.
Painting
We work with several types of paint bases including urethane, acrylic, and water-based paints. Common applications include display or presentation models. Other applications can include coated materials to provide a protective surface coating for specific part functionality or environmental requirements.
